Article Title: Craig Breslow makes his 'First Pitch'

The Minnesota Twins right-hander recently launched the Strike 3 Foundation, a charity that raises awareness, support and funding for pediatric cancer research. And on Nov. 8, the organization kicked off its first fundraiser, a joint effort called the First Pitch Celebrity Gala, staged with the group CureSearch near Breslow's hometown in Connecticut.
His admiration was returned by Baseball Project vocalist/guitarist Steve Wynn. "It's funny...we've been musicians for a long time, but we're baseball fans as well," said Wynn.
"And we'll meet our heroes and peers who make music and it's like 'whatever.' But meeting Craig Breslow, meeting a Major League pitcher who's pitched for (drummer Linda Pitmon's) favorite team the Twins, now that's exciting. We become geeky fans, like, 'Oh my god, a Major League ball player right in front of us!'"
